IDW is a highly experienced organization led by an entrepreneurial management team with years of industry-specific experience.
Quay Brown, Chief Executive Officer
- Quay assumed the CEO role in mid-2021 after having joined the IDW Leadership Team in 2017. He is a seasoned Executive with 25 years of professional experience in engineering, manufacturing, supply chain management and business development.
- Quay joined IDW after 13 years with the Coca-Cola Company where he held both domestic and international roles.
- Prior to Coca-Cola, Quay worked for General Electric, Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, and SAP.
- He holds an undergraduate degree in Industrial Engineering from Morgan State University and an MBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
George Ioannou, Chief Financial Officer
- George joined IDW in September of 2010 as Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, George is responsible for all IDW’s financial functions, including accounting, audit, and treasury.
- He also manages all human resources and West Coast operations.
- His career spans across several different industries, with more than 25 years of experience in financial management, business leadership and corporate strategy.
- George is a CPA and holds an MBA in International Finance from Loyola Marymount University.
Michelle Brawner, Executive Vice President Business Development
- Michelle is a 30+ year beverage industry veteran with experience at globally recognized brands and start-ups including Coca‑Cola, PepsiCo, BODYARMOR, and Super Coffee.
- She is a proven executive leader with senior roles spanning sales, marketing, operations, and corporate strategy, driving growth and organizational performance.
- Michelle joined IDW in October 2025, where she is focusing on strengthening existing customer relationships and expanding the IDW’s presence into new verticals.
Alex Panas, Executive Vice President International Business
- Alex brings over 30 years of international business experience, 21 of which across the commercial refrigeration and beverage support sectors. He held senior roles with industry-leading firms in Europe and Asia, overseeing product management, business development and sales throughout Europe, Asia-Pacific and Africa.
- Since joining our team 5 years ago, he has focused on expanding IDW’s global supplier network while driving business development and sales outside North America.
- Based in Europe, Alex is strategically positioned to support IDW’s international business growth initiatives.
- He holds a PhD in Chemical Catalysis, as well as an MBA.
